WIC is a federally funded food assistance program that helps pregnant women, infants and children make healthy food choices. If you meet low-income guidelines, are at risk for poor nutrition and fall into one of the categories listed below, you can apply for WIC: Pregnant women Breastfeeding mothers Non-breastfeeding mothers  Infants. WIC serves 45% of all infants born in the United States.  Children up to their 5th birthday.
